There is no universal “best”. EVA is the default for dry interior furniture. PUR is the industrial answer when kitchens, bathrooms or export climates need moisture and heat resistance and a thinner glue line. Laser / airtronic systems can approach a zero glue line but sit at a different capital cost; YongMao’s current automatic catalogue is built around glue-pot and PUR-ready machines, not a laser head.

How to choose

  • If your doors stay indoors and you change colours often, EVA plus a dual glue pot (see YM-465D / YM-468JD) is the practical path.
  • If the edge will be touched, washed or exported to a humid market, budget PUR — not a cheaper EVA and a hope.
  • If a buyer’s drawing says “laser edge”, do not assume a glue-pot machine can fake it. Ask us what we build versus what to source elsewhere.
